SUMMARY:Expedition: Endangered Animals Camp (Western Hemisphere) Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:This camp session is appropriate for children entering Pre-K through 2nd Grade. \nTo register\, visit: https://wacm.ticketleap.com/endangered-animals-west/ \n All children must be fully potty-trained. \nGet ready to learn about wild and wonderful endangered animals from the Western Hemisphere! Kids will "travel" the world to learn about different animals and their home countries\, make crafts\, play in the museum\, and more! The week will end with a special visit from an Animal Educator and her animal buddies! \nCamp days are Monday\, August 19 – Friday\, August 23\, from 9am -1pm each day. \nChildren must bring their own snacks\, lunch\, and beverages to camp each day. \nSample camp schedule:9-9:30am: Arrival\, snack\, and playtime in the museum.9:30-10am: Activity10-10:30am: Playtime in the museum10:30-11am: Craft11-11:30am: Lunch11:30am-12:30pm: Playtime at the SMSA School playground12:30-1pm: Playtime in the museum and departure \nPricing:Museum Members: $200 per child per weekNot-yet-members: $215 per child per week \nCamp sessions are limited to 10 children. \nIf you have questions\, please call 518-793-2773 or email info@worldchildrensmuseum.org. \n    v

SUMMARY:Chris Thomas & His Smoke Dancers
DESCRIPTION:Highlighted by lightning footwork that seems to float on air\, the Smoke Dance is a traditional social dance of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy\, a confederated alliance of the Mohawk\, Oneida\, Cayuga\, Seneca\, and Tuscarora nations. Thomas is one of this generation’s most celebrated smoke dancers\, and he and his Smoke Dancers will dazzle you with their talent. Tickets are $8 per person.
