#GivingTuesday is an annual day of giving, encouraging individuals like you to donate to their favorite charities or non-profits. Over the past 9 years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

This year we’ve thought a lot about COMMUNITY. It takes more than a strong staff and board to keep a museum going, and thanks to many people like you in our neighborhood, we came out the other side of the pandemic a stronger organization. We love what we do, and we believe our mission to engage with children about the different people and cultures around the world is an important contribution to the region. Here are some testimonials from members of our own Glens Falls community about what the museum means to them.

“The children’s museum is a hidden gem! Aside from just the interactive exhibits, there is just something so powerful about kids being able to see the diverse world through the eyes of other kids. I’m a member because my kids love going, but also because I feel like I’m contributing towards such an important mission!”

– Carol Martindale, Queensbury, NY

“I enjoy the museum and eagerly support it because it provides children with a perspective on the world with all its diversity they may not otherwise be exposed to in our not-so-diverse community.  I believe this should be a part of all children’s growing process.  Our three grandsons loved their time at the museum!”

– Frank Cappabianca, Queensbury, NY

“The World Awareness Children’s Museum is not only a super fun place to bring your kids, it’s also spreading the message of celebrating diversity, which is one of the most important missions there is.”

– Kate Austin, Glens Falls, NY

By donating any amount you are comfortable with today, you are helping create a rich community resource that families will love for years to come.

Without your support, our work would not be possible. Thank you.
