Saga City is actually the sister city to Glens Falls, where our museum is located! Both of our cities enjoy balloon festivals - The Adirondack Balloon Festival (happening in Glens Falls and Queensbury this week) and The Saga International Balloon Fiesta, which takes place October 31 - November 4 this year.

We're ONE WEEK AWAY from The Adirondack Balloon Festival, September 19 - 22! We will be onsite with a bounce house village for families to enjoy and are looking for volunteers to help during the event. The dates and locations are as follows:

- Thursday, September 19 at Crandall Park (Glens Falls, NY)
- September 20 - 22 at Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport (Queensbury, NY)

Those who volunteer get a free parking pass for the day they volunteer. Museum Members are also encouraged to visit our booth and get unlimited bounces thanks to their support of WACM!

The Smoke Dance is a traditional social dance of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, a confederated alliance of the Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, Seneca, and Tuscarora nations. Chris Thomas is one of this generation’s most celebrated smoke dancers, and he and his Smoke Dancers will dazzle you with their talent!
