‘Freedom To…” Series

All year long, we’re celebrating the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence with our special “Freedom To…” programs. This monthly series invites children and families to experience America’s past, present, and future through playful, hands-on themes like Freedom to Belong, Freedom to Learn, and Freedom to Imagine. Each month sparks curiosity and connection, encouraging young visitors to see freedom not just as history—but as something they live, share, and shape every day.

January — Freedom to Wonder
Start the year with curiosity! This month invites children to explore big questions, discover new ideas, and spark their sense of wonder about the world around them. All programs are free with admission but required pre-registration. Please click the links below to sign up today.

February — Freedom to Belong
Everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and connected. February celebrates belonging — our cultures, our stories, and the many communities we call home.

March — Freedom to Learn
March shines a light on discovery and learning. Children are encouraged to ask questions, try new things, and learn through hands-on exploration.
