Join us for our second "Beyond the Exhibit" event

Join us for our second "Beyond the Exhibit" event of the summer - Chris Thomas and His Smoke Dancers - Saturday, August 24, 2 - 3pm at the Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls, NY! Highlighted by lightning footwork that seems to float on air, the Smoke Dance is a traditional social dance of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, a confederated alliance of the Mohawk, Oneida, Cayuga, Seneca, and Tuscarora nations. Thomas is one of this generation's most celebrated smoke dancers, and he and his Smoke Dancers will dazzle you with their talent.

There's still time to register for our "Gold Medal

There's still time to register for our "Gold Medal Camp" session running July 29 - August 2!

During this program, kids will participate in kid-friendly Olympic events like the lighting of the ceremonial torch, relay races, long jumps, a paper airplane challenge, interpretive dance, and so much more! We'll learn about different countries, watch clips from this year's Olympics in Paris, collect gold medals, and end the week with a closing ceremony. This camp session is appropriate for children entering 3rd grade through 6th grade.

Our "Urban Explorer Camp" session is right around the corner! We're so excited to be offering this fun camp July 22 - 26, where we'll travel to different places in downtown Glens Falls (all within walking distance of the museum) to get to know some of the wonderful arts organizations in town.

Where we'll be going:

- Wednesday, July 24: @crwoodtheater
- Thursday, July 25: @larac_arts featuring a performance and meet & greet with a @glensfallssymphony cellist!
