We will be closing from September 6th to the 27th for our annual cleaning. Upon re-opening, fall hours will be Thursday through Saturday, 10 AM – 3 PM, and Sunday from 12 PM – 5 PM.

“We have had a busy summer season,” says Interim Director Kate Austin-Avon. Our new Hola, Mexico! exhibit was the highlight of the summer and we have seen many children enjoy playing in the farm and kitchen. We hosted Mexico themed workshops nearly every day we were open, and were able to waive workshop fees in August, courtesy of the Cohoes Savings Foundation.”

“Our most exciting event this summer was a Meet the Musicians event in partnership with The Sembrich in Bolton
Landing, bringing world-class Mexican ensemble The Villalobos Brothers on August 19th for an upbeat, exclusive performance that drew in new visitors to the Museum! The brothers’ mother joined us all the way from Mexico and it was quite the honor
to host the intimate gathering.”

The Museum is also looking for volunteers to help with our Bounce House Village at this year’s annual Adirondack Balloon Festival. There are many shifts available and we greatly appreciate the help! Please sign up online here.
